 DEX-Thumb

DEX-Thumbs are the first load bearing rotational artificial thumb for partial thumb amputees. The device enables individuals who are missing a portion of their thumb to grasp objects of varying size and weight. The rotating assembly allows users to grasp and lift objects by transferring the pressure exerted on the thumb back near the metacarpal joint, allowing significant force to be held in a sturdy manner. This is a must have for every thumb amputee. 

DEX-Thumbs can be used alone or together with X-Fingers when needed.
